Battle for the Sun es el sexto albúm de la banda de rock alternativo Placebo, próximo a publicarse el 8 de junio del 2009. Este es el primer disco con Steve Forrest (batería), luego de la salida de Steve Hewitt en el 2007. El primer sencillo del álbum fue "For What It's Worth", puesto a la venta el 1 de junio de 2009, y que contó con "Wouldn't It Be Good", versión de Nick Kershaw, como cara B.Tracklist:
